After saving the settings sometimes a second boot might be needed for the settings to take effect

FIXED Mode (Memory)FIXEDFIXED allocates a fixed amount of memory for graphics use at boot time. A specific amount of RAM is reserved for the GPU, regardless of whether it is fully utilized or not.
DVMT/FIXED (Memory)DVMTUses as little as possible memory for graphics so applications have the maximum amount of memory available. Only use FIXED if there are graphics issues

UEFI

Booting from a CD or DVD on an UEFI system

When, on an UEFI based system the system boots from CD but not from DVD check the UEFI settings. There is a setting which has to be set to UEFI to make the system boot from DVD
