Cooling with fans

Warning:
Make sure no cable can not block the function of any fan. This can happen when the orientation of the case is changed. Use cable ties to keep the cables from blocking any fan in any orientation of the case

Removing the side panel can lower the CPU temperature by 5 °C

Debian thermald

thermald controls temperature in laptops and tablets PC's with the latest Intel Sandy bridge and latest Intel CPU releases. Once the system temperature reaches a certain threshold, the Linux daemon activates various cooling methods to try to cool the system.
It operates in two modes:

  • Zero Configuration Mode
  • User defined configuration mode
