Harddisk testing with Spinrite

After (re)building a PC check

If all the fans are running properly
If there are no components that get to hot. Do this first with an open case, an infrared thermometer can be used, and if noting is found close the case and measure again. A thermometer with the sensor on a wire can be used
In the OS it might also be possible to show the temperatures of the CPU, harddrives and motherboard. However these are not all components that might get to hot
