HW-040
The HW-040 switch uses Gray code on the CLK and DT output. Gray code can be used for error correction and also for determining the direction the switch is turned in
Connection | Description |
---|---|
CLK | Clock. This line is toggled (high to low or low to high) after one step of the switch. The otherway arround at the next step. Gray code in combination with DT |
DT | This line is toggled (high to low or low to high) after one step of the switch. The otherway arround at the next step. It does the same as CLK only not at the same time, position of the switch. Gray code in combination with CLK |
SW | This line is switched to ground when the dial is pressed |
GND | Ground |
+ | 5V |
