Setting up lighttpd-mod-webdav
See: here and here how other people did it
\n : New line in command output (so we can put all the output on one line here)
We presume the lighttpd is already installed
- aptitude install lighttpd-mod-webdav apache2-utils
- Check the ownership: ll -d /var/run/lighttpd/. It should show “www-data www-data” in the user and group permision fields
- lighty-enable-mod auth. This should result in: “Enabling auth: ok \n Run “service lighttpd force-reload” to enable changes”
- lighty-enable-mod webdav. This should result in; “Enabling webdav: ok \n Run “service lighttpd force-reload” to enable changes'
- service lighttpd force-reload
- mkdir -p /var/www/html/other/webDAV
Work in progress
